gold digging

Ari: Can't I just marry a prince?

Me: Well, see, I just finished reading The Other Boleyn Girl and seems it's not all it's cracked up to be, marrying royalty.

Ari: Eh... it's got to be a bit better than this.

Me: People's heads get chopped off.

Ari: When I had strep that would have been a blessing.

Me: God, no kidding.

What about just regular aristocracy? Does it have to be actual royalty? I mean, the Queen is wearing her outfits more than once now so she's practically schlepping it!

Hilarious! I'm with Ari on this one. I miss The Tudors. I could use me some Henry Cavill right now...

Did you not learn ANYTHING from Diana? Princes are not what they're cracked up to be.

Ari could always try out for the Bachelor. *runs off snickering*

So funny. You made me think of Tudors which I love!! And man, am I glad I didn't live back then. We think dating is hard now!!

Once you read The Boleyn Inheritance, it'll seem like an even worse idea, haha.

Mmm, Henry Cavill....

Prince or not, I'd marry William any day! The jewels, private jets, country cottages, and lavish living would just be icing on the cake ;)

Ugh, yes to the strep comment. I'm a teacher and I've had it twice since August (thanks, fourth-grade germy monkeys...).

I've had a desire to rob the cradle with William for years, LOL! Having seen the film version of "The Other Boleyn Girl" though, I agree that royalty seems to look better from the outside--and am thankful for living in a time when parents don't auction off their single daughters to philandering monarchs. :-)

I'm hoping sometime in my life to be able to wear a tiara as an accessory on days other than Halloween and significant birthdays.
