i'm back!
I know. I didn't even tell you I was leaving. But last Friday, I hopped a plane bound for exotic Utah to spend spring break with my brother and sisters. We ate, laughed, Scrabbled. I slept all bundled up in an attic bed, took cold showers and for the first time in… well, ever, I was not anxious to get back to New York.
I didn’t even miss my computer.
I did write a nice long post on the flight home, but since the red eye always seems to be a much better idea than it actually is, that post is going to have to wait til I get some real sleep.
I’m such a blog tease.

Yeah!!!! Sounds like you had a good time. It's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of real life. I know what you mean about the computer. I have forgotten my cell phone for the 2nd day in a row and I'm actually enjoying the silence. Glad you got a chance to recconect with the fam!

I didn't realize how much I depended on you for entertainment until you weren't there to give it to me.
I'm glad you're back. And at the same time, a bit sad at the current excitement level of my life.

I only found this blog about 2 weeks ago, but Im already hopelessly addcited, so you just up and leavin' like that was very traumatic for me. It gave me a chance to read the archives and get up to speed though! Never leave again.

Scarlet, I didn't have a game family either, so now I'm considered a bit odd by everyone I know when I'd rather have a go at Pictionary than go out on a friday night :)
Heather- I didn't know you were away 'cuz I was in Costa Rica until yesterday. It was a lot more fun than my last visit to Utah ;-)

We hopped a plane for the West on Friday and took a red-eye back too.
It was the first flight ever with our 6-month-old, and I'm proud to say that Yes. We. Have. Survived. It's so good to be home though. The kid takes naps and things make sense again.
